DJ Large Pro is also credited with discovering rap legend NAS and produced three tracks on the classic rap album "Illmatic," including the landmark singles "Halftime" and “It Ain’t Hard to Tell,” and built a defining body of work through his contributions to Main Source and A Tribe Called Quest, among others.
